• I have a hacker that has locked me out of the permalinks admin for my multi-site installation.
The whole site is wordfenced, but this one got thru. I suspect it was access via old themes on subdomains – which I cannot access – another issue to be posted.

I have gone into cpanel and changed the site url back to how it should be, but the dns is still pointing to the hacker site.
    Humbly request assistanec, please.

DNS is outside of WordPress. You’ll need to login to wherever you’ve set up your DNS for the domain in question.

Hi, the source of the problem I believe, is in the locked changes to the permalinks page settings. I can’t send an image of the page to better describe this, and to give a link to it would require disclosing the password.

The Common Settings entry is https://redirect4.xyz/?p=123

Even as super admin I cannot change this.

Perhaps the real solution is to delete the wp and re-install

If you think you’ve been hacked, take a deep breath and carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.

If you’re unable to clean your site(s) successfully, there are reputable organizations that can clean your sites for you. Sucuri and Wordfence are a couple.

I have had several sites hacked and destroyed by these vermin we call hackers.
My problem I could not resolve was the permalinks setting page entry for the website.

I did then remove all but wp-content, .htaccess, and wp-config.php
This removal was, to my limited understanding, to remove any contaminated files and enable a fresh install. Problem now is when I try to go to the site (https://sweetblogspot.com) I get a blank screen. At my wits end and the ISP is not responding.
I have changed the dbase password, just in case that was altered.
Anyone with ideas other than turning the system off ???
