Hi, I need help resetting the password or logging into my website. I have been trying for 2 days now with no luck. I have contacted my hosting company who say it is not their problem and have directed my to Wordfence as they believe the plugin is blocking me.
Basically I try to log in on my wp-admin page but i am denied. I clock ‘forgot my password’, enter my username and the message shows to check my email to reset the password. The email I receive is from Wordfence saying someone is trying to access my website and to reset the password so I click on the link but it loops back to the login page and so it continues.
I have gained access through my hosting page but when I try to update plugins/theme etc it reverts to the login page and the same scenario happens. I have tried deactivating wordfence from the plugins page but no luck there either.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as long as they are not too techy as I do not know much about this whole process.
    Thanks, Jo

  • Hi @jbgraphics,

Do you have access to the file system? To regain access, you can rename the folder /wp-content/plugins/wordfence/ to /wp-content/plugins/wordfence-old/.

@djmods That’s all handled in subscriptions for www.remarpro.com. We don’t control that. You can post in the general WordPress forum and ask for help.
