locked out of my website

I’m not sure about version because I can’t get into the website to check. But it was upgraded to the latest version whatever that is.
It didn’t accept my password of record.
I tried clicking on “forget your password” to reset.
Typed in my email address.
Then I got this message.
“Could not save password reset key to database.”

So … no more updates or ability to change. I’m contemplating either contacting or seeing if I can go back with wordpress.com. To be honest I’m not that savvy when it comes to technical things.
Who can I call?
