• I have a really strange problem.

I am locked out of my site. But when I try to log in, it doesn’t say bad password, it just goes back to the login page. If I type in a wrong password, then it says wrong password.

I suspect I have probably been hacked, but don’t have any direct evidence of this.

I did a brand new install of 6.3.2, only keeping wp-config.php and my database. No change in behavior. Still can’t get logged in.

When I do a password reset, it says the link is invalid, and I am opening the link within a few seconds of receiving it.

I’ve got a lot of years of history in this blog. Is there maybe a way of setting up a new blog and having it copy all the posts, users, etc from a different database? I can then work on the rest of the config manually.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • You can try changing the password in the database. You can find it under the user table . You just have to set the function property in the table to md5 and type in the password you want.
