• Hi,

I just went to log in to my site, it’s been a couple of months since I last did, and it gave me an incorrect password error.

Definitely had the right password but thought I’d reset it anyway. The reset password link sends me an email, but the link in that email just sends me back to my home-page.

I’ve tried changing my password in PHPMyAdmin, no success. I am the only user on the site, or at least in the ‘users’ database. No idea what to try next!

It looks like maybe I’m not the only user, or someone has been in at some point and his messing things up.

    Any help appreciated!

Thanks Lalix, disabling all of my plug-ins worked, allowed me to log in and then I updated and re-activated them all.

I can get in to my site, but something is still wrong…

I go to mydomain.com/wp-login.php, I enter my login details and it tells me the password field is empty. I can keep trying this over and over to no avail, but if after 1 failed attempt I go to mydomain.com, it shows me the WordPress admin bar at the top, and I am actually logged in.

it’s just the back-end login page that seems to be messed up. Anyone experienced this before or know what I should try?

    Thanks,

are you using some plugin as captcha or for securing your login page? try disabling that and then try.
