Locked Out of Log in

  • Please help! I am logged out of my admin with a message saying: You have been locked out due to too many invalid login attempts.

    I just had all the security keys changed yesterday through hosting company which appeared to fix an alternate problem. I logged in and it was working fine.

    I woke up this morning and went to log in and received this message. I tried changing the password through the “forgot” protocol and it once again gave me the same message of being locked out due to too many attempts.

    please help!

    WordPress doesn’t do that on its own. Are you using any security plugins, like Jetpack Protect, Limit Login Attempts, iThemes Security, etc?
