Locked Out of Admin Page After Wrong Password

    Hello,

    I need help! I typed my password wrong 3 times into the admin login page so I could get into my dashboard. It changed to an error 418 page. I cleared cache/cookies and now it keeps saying The Webpage is Not Available.
    How can I get my login screen back? I have a blog post promised to be finished this afternoon!

    You must be using a plugin which is limiting login attempts.

    If you do not know which plugin, then try deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see which plugin is doing it.

    Actually, it seems to be working now. Anyone know if wordpress sets one of those time limit lockouts? Maybe I had to wait 20 minutes or something… anyway, thank you!

    This is not the default behavior of WordPress core.

    As I said above, you must be using some plugin which (1) sets limit to login attempts (2) and time limit.

    You can change these settings if you want. In fact you can remove that plugin if you want.

    Anyhow, I am glad its working now ??
