Locked out of admin

Having had a number of hack attempts I installed All in One WP Security. For some days it has worked well, reporting hack attempts and I have added the bad addresses to the blacklist. Today, however, login is blocked. I went into the database via phpMyAdmin and changed the username and password but I still can’t login using the new values.
How can I get in?
