I have tried all of the suggestions regarding uncommenting the define(‘WPHTTPS_RESET’, true); and accessing pages on the website and then re-commenting it again and I still cannot access my WP dashboard but the pages on the site are viewable.

This is a production eCommerce site and I need to be able to access my dashboard. Please help!

Anybody? I need to be able to get into the dashboard. Please help.

If you have FTP access you will have to FTP into /wp-contents/plugins and rename the https plugin directory. This will deactivate the plugin on your next load and you should be able to access the site again.

It must be something else, because I used FTP and went to wp-contents/plugins and renamed the WordPress-https plugin and loaded the ste’s wp-admin page in the browser and still getting the white screed of death.

You can still view the pages on the site like normal but can’t get into the Admin Dashboard.

Should I rename all of my plugins and see if it’s some kind of plugin conflict as well?

you might have changed the blog URL to https or the site address to https.

To fix it you might need to go to your mysql DB and exchange it manually.

    Hi juninho_14!

I appreciate the idea and it seemed plausible so I went into the WP-Options records and changed the home and site addresses from the https version of my URLs to http versions and tried loading WP-admin but still nothing but the white screen of death.

I have tried everything I can think of. I have followed the support suggestions of removing the // from the define(‘WPHTTPS_RESET’, true); statement, loading a page and // back, but still nothing. I am using mainWP and was able to disable WordPress-https but no luck.

I have repaired and optimized my DB. I have disabled every plugin and went back to the default 2013 theme and still the same results. But you can type the public URL of the site and the site functions publically as it is supposed to.

I’m open to just about anything. Please keep the ideas and suggestions coming.

I GOT IT! I changed the theme out using mainWP to 2012 and I was finally able to get back into the Admin Dashboard.

Thank you to all who tried to help me.

    Steve
