I am the single user and the administrator of the website.

I was sucessfully receiving the code by email but now I’m locked out:

“Your user account has been locked because you have not configured 2FA within the grace period. Please contact the website administrator to unlock your user and you can configure 2FA.”

So we have to erros here:
    1) I had activated the 2FA for the user
    2) I am the admin

So what now? How to hard reset this?

    I found a way.

    For future reference:

In the WP options Mysql table I extendend the ‘wp_2fa_grace_period_expiry’ period (by adding some zeros) and set both ‘wp_2fa_user_grace_period_expired’ and ‘wp_2fa_locked_account_notification’ to 0 (zero). So I could log in again.

But there are still the issues with the plugin as listed above.

    Hello, @robert681, thanks for answering.

I would be glad to help but I sincerely don’t know if I would be able to reproduce the problem for further investigation.

Maybe – just maybe – I had it with auto update activated and it reseted the grace period? I don’t log everyday.

    Thanks,

That should not have happened @sirojuntle

Anyway, please do ping us if it happens again. The sooner you can get in touch and the more details you can send us about your setup the better it is. Please send us an email directly at support at wpwhitesecurity dot com.

Please let me know if there is anything else we can do for you at the moment.

    Have a great day.
