    Hello gruia2,

Thank you for showing interest in our plugin.

It seems you’ve set yourself to view the alerts only rather to manage the plugin, but you can revert the change quickly by following the below procedure:

    1. Open the wp_wsal_options table from the WordPress database
    2. Find the option “wsal-plugin-viewers”
    3. Delete your username from the option
    4. Logout and back in, and that should do the trick.

While I trust the above helps you solve your issue do not hesitate to get in touch should you have any further queries.

In the meantime we would appreciate if you can also rate the plugin on the WordPress repository.

    Hello team,

I am going thru the same issue currently. I am unable to gain access to plugin settings even though after couple of install/uninstalls. I have also done your above suggested db changes to wsal-plugin-viewers table.

Is the last option left is to drop your plugin tables (3 of them i see) and re-install the plugin all over again?

    Please let me know.

    thanks,

    Hello Paragp,

There is no need to delete the audit log tables, so you do not loose any data. You have 2 options at the stage:

    1. Or you contact us so you can send us an export of your settings table and we will tell you which option might be creating this problem

    2. Or the easiest way out is to:
    – disable the plugin
    – delete the options table only
    – enable the plugin.

Can you please advise us of the outcome?

    Hello WPWhiteSecurity,

Many thanks for your quick response. Yes, option2 has worked.

Btw, we have multiple admins, is there a way that to control one admin user unable to reset passwd of other admin user? Some sort of super-admin user creation within wordpress.

Also, do u have any paid premium model for this plugin? Pls do let me know.

    Thanks,
    Parag

    Hello Paragp,

    Glad it all worked.

WP Security Audit Log is a logging plugin hence it is designed specifically for audit trail and logging functionality. Yes we do have several add-ons to extend the functionality of the plugin and you can read more about them in the add-ons page.

In the meantime would appreciate if you can rate the plugin.

In my case I solved the problem by deleting the value in “wsal-restrict-admins” option name column.
