90% of my plugins were already deactivated before I ran this plugin.

Now I can not login to my site. Tried password reset and it says user nor email can be found.

Any words of wisdom? Not too happy at the moment.

  • Did the same thing to me too. Weird. Changed the username to admin (not what I had previously). Also won’t resend me the lost password, so it looks like it might have changed the admin email too.
Update: Was able to “break in” by editing the users database table to the right email address, then did the “lost password” thing.
    Now in.

HELP! This has happened to me to! I can’t get in. @wonderwoman2, can you walk me through what you did in the users database? I’m unsure of how to do that.

    Same here ??

    Hi All,

I want just to let you know that if the “Admin” user exists, it will be recreated with its current password and it will be the admin of the site with its email. If, and only if, the “admin” does not exists then the current user will be used instead. So please make sure you enter the right password for the user “Admin” because the plugin does not change anything regarding the password or the email.

If you forget your password, I will be happy to do a custom modification for you from the database itself so you can recover access to you site, just contact me please via email please.

    Thank you.

    Dear Younes JFR,

Since I read this article before resetting my site, I surely created Admin account. But I cannot login to my site after resetting my site by using this plugin. I sent you my email as well. I really appreciate if you can help me ASAP.

I created a wp_user table, and manually inserted one user account into the tablet. Then I was able to login to my site, but there is nothing on the dashboard. No button to update anything. I really appreciate if you can help me to get out of this issue ASAP. TIA.

I resolved this issue by myself. Thank myself. For anyone who would be trapped by this plugin just like myself, please help yourself with this link at https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-an-admin-user-to-the-wordpress-database-via-mysql/. Hope this helps.
