Locked in “Edit site”

  • Hello.

    Using Lemmony AgencyVersión: 1.1 with latest version 6.4.1.

    Installed the demo.

    Once in the page, In the upper menu there are 2 options: “edit site” and “edit page”. The first does not allow to edit the site, the second does.

    Nevertheless, the site template is the one displayed. Kind of “locked in”.

    Please provide a guide to documentation to handle this, or provide an explanation on how to switch.

    Hi there,

    Can you please give us more details like does it happen only for the front page or that is like that for all the pages?

    It happens only in the front page.

    I guess it is a limation relate to the fact that the front page can′t be overriden.

    That might be it.

    Still did you try this method below?

    1. Create a new page (Pages > Add New)
      1. Under summary set Template to “Page (without title)”
      2. Add patterns and modify the content as needed
    2. Set the page as Homepage (Settings > Reading > Your homepage displays)
    3. Open the front page template (Appearance > Editor > Templates > Front Page)
      1. Backup the content (if needed)
      2. Delete all blocks/content
      3. Add pattern “Front page (inherits homepage content)” (+ button > Patterns > Enter name inside the search)
      4. View your homepage
