Locked content for media files

    Hi,

    I’ve recently started using the lock content feature of the plugin. But as far as I can tell, you cannot lock the content of a media file, like a PDF. I want my subscribers to have access to certain content upgrades (PDFs) only upon subscription. The page where these PDFs are linked from is locked with [newsletter_lock], so that’s ok. But once a subscriber gets the link to the PDF, they can just pass it around.

    I would really appreciate any advice regarding this. Obviously, the locked content should be the PDF rather than anything else.

    Hi, the plugin can only hide a piece of post content, cannot intercept the direct call to a pdf or like, so there is no way to do that.

    You should eventually do in this way: use a plugin like download manager to lock the files, then make the registration to the site mandatory and use the newsletter wp-registration integration to get the user subscribed.
