• I want to lock out ALL IP addresses that are not in my white list. I have already set my lock out to 1 attempt and lock out for 86 hours, but I am getting so many email notifications of attempted log ins that it is not practical to insert them all in the black list. They change continually. If there was a way to allow ONLY a couple of my own whitelisted IP addresses without any lock out that would be more straight forward.

Hi, in the free version there are only 2 rules that can be used to explicitly allow an IP address. This will block all other ones. You can add your own IP address and then deny everything else. This is dangerous though b/c if your IP changes you will not be able to log in. It’s much better to use the Premium version b/c it will allow you to change the rules using our cloud control panel.

Thanks for that quick reply. You wrote: “You can add your own IP address and then deny everything else”. OK. So how do I do that. I have several computers so if I White List those IP addresses I can log in another if one happens to change IP address.

Тo deny all you need to add this into the denylist: 0.0.0.0-255.255.255.255

but first add your IPs to the allow list.

OK….. So it seems I have now locked myself out permanently. Looks like my ISP has changed their IP address.

Is there a way to uninstall “Limit Login Attempts Reloaded” from my Cpanel, or do I have to uninstall WordPress and reinstall it and then upload the Backup?

SOLVED….. I can access my WP-ADMIN via my CPanel

From there I can change the IP Address in the while list
