    Hi,

Since upgrading WP and Download Manager none of the lock options are working anymore.

I’ve tested the following, Deactivate all plugins except Download Manager, created a new download with a file and no lock options selected, the file can be downloaded perfectly. As soon as any of the lock options are enabled, clicking on the download button does nothing (that i can see).

Here are my current versions and what updated when it stopped working.

There are no other plugins active only Download Manager.

My WordPress version is 5.8.1 (This updated)
    PHP V7.4 (Static)
Download Manager version 3.2.15 (This updated)
    Templatic iBusiness theme V1.0.9 (Static)

Any help or advice would be greatly received.

  • Hello @kevin-itg
    Sorry for the inconvenience.
Can you please clear your browser/website/CDN caches if you have any? Also, there can be a conflict with another plugin, can you please enable/disable other plugins for checking, you may also switch the theme to another for checking, please let me know then.
    Thank You

    Hi,

I’ve been doing a bit of poking around the website, and I decided to completely move the plugins out of the plugin folder into a temporary holding folder. Once I moved them all out I then manually moved them back one by one until download manager stopped working.

Well I moved all the plugins out except download manager and it started working yay. I then moved them all back one by one and it’s still working. So I’m not really sure what caused the problem. But all is well again. Thanks for your help @humayonk

Just incase anyone else gets this issue you could try the above process. It worked for me!

    Hi
Glad to hear that the issue has been resolved.
As I have said before It was happening due to plugin conflict.
However, If you get some free moments, please give us a 5* here and add your valuable review about our plugin, it will inspire us a lot.
    Best Regards
