I have mutiple websites where i have installed the free version of wordfence. The issue i have been facing is that hackers are trying SQL injection multiple times. Just today i got the following
The Wordfence Web Application Firewall has blocked 123 attacks over the last 10 minutes. Below is a sample of these recent attacks:

Is there a way to block the IP immediately if SQL injection is detected??

  • Hey @krishneel,

Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to do this. A lot of the times these attacks “highjack” legitimate IPs for their attacks, so banning all of them would likely end up banning legitimate IPs. There’s a little more information about this in the article below. With that said, if our WAF detects an IP(s) attacking multiple WordPress sites it will be added to our IP Network Blacklist. So my best advice would be to not worry about it, and let Wordfence continue to protect you in the background :).

    Thanks,
