    Hi,

Whenever I try to add a location to my event, it won’t save when I publish the event.

This happens when I add a new one through the event editor, but also when I add the location first and add the location to any event.

Whenever I click publish, it still saves the checkbox that says it doesn’t have a physical location.

are you getting any errors when saving the location ? Or try to check your user capability under events > settings > general > user capability

    Hi,

No errors, it just doesn’t save it.

I am the admin so I have all rights, it shows on the user capability as well.

Which version of Events Manager and WordPress are you using?

WordPress 4.2.2 and Events Manager 5.5.7.

Do you have “Use dropdown for locations” set to Yes under Events > Settings > General > General Options? If you do, does changing to to No solve the problem?

It was set to no, changing it to yes doesn’t solve the problem.

I can choose existing locations, but after publishing it shows “No location” again.

It’s possible this is a jQuery conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?
