    Hello,

I’m having a couple issues with the plug-in, I’m hoping you can help me with.

    Locations
I’m using location placeholders on the event listing page and the event single page. However, the locations do not appear on the event listing until they are published from the admin ‘Locations’ page.

Is there any way to allow locations to be displayed automatically on the event listing and single pages once the event is approved, without having to publish the submitted event and then going to locations to publish the location?

    Booking/Registration Form
When a user adds tickets during the event submission process, the information that appears in the admin panel during the approval process is different. Is this a glitch, or is there something we are not doing on our end to prevent this.

To be more clear, it completely deletes the tickets that were created and reverts to the standard ticket default.

    Any help is very appreciated!

    Thank you

    1. try to check capability Events > Settings > General > User Capabilities > publish_locations

    2. are you using any EM custom functions in your theme functions.php which might cause this issue?

    1. That fixed the location problem…thanks!

    2. Not using any custom functions. Still having problem…I tried various settings and nothing works. Any other suggestions?

EDIT: Manage Bookings, is set in user capabilities.

Could you give us an example of what’s submitted vs. what shows up in admin? That might help track down the problem.

      User Side

In the event submission form, user selects ‘Enable registration for this event.’

    Ticket table opens

    User selects ‘edit’ standard ticket.

User changes ticket name and available spaces.

User completes submission form, then submits event.

      Admin Side

Newly submitted event is pending approval in ‘Events’

Admin clicks edit to view event.

Admin scrolls down to Bookings section. Default standard ticket appears, without changes made by user.

Admin publishes event to be sure.

Event shows as ‘Fully Booked’ on single event page.

Note: The same occurs even if the user deletes the default standard ticket and creates a new ticket.

#2 can you give us a sample screenshots for us to see?

    Thread Starter dp354

    (@dp354)

Thanks for the response. Screenshots below…

    – User enables event registration, ticket table appears: https://db.tt/pMx0CWaB

    – User adds/edits ticket information: https://db.tt/WvD0hdBz

    – User submits event, and receives success message.

    – Admin opens pending event and scrolls to booking section. Ticket table info is back to default (only the registration capacity + deadline fields update correctly): https://db.tt/kzKsWh7g

    – Admin publishes event.

    – Guest booking section on single event page allows guests to submit booking info, but the ticket option is the default ticket, NOT what the user submitted in the event submission form. [Please note, this was showing as fully booked before but now appears as seen in screenshot]: https://db.tt/WvD0hdBz

I have no other plugins and have all wp and em updates.

I hope that is clear and helps. Thank you so much for your help with this!

    Hello,

I’m still having issues with the ticket table/form as shown in the screenshots of my previous post.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Any help or feedback is very appreciated.

    Thank you!

If you switch to the default theme and try does that fix the problem?

It sounds like you might have javascript problems there. Temporarily switching themes or deactivating plugins may help figure out the cause.

I’d guess that a normal subscriber will get the same problem, yet if they try via the admin area it’ll work as expected. May be worth trying that, it’ll support my suspicion above.

Thank you for the suggestions. I switched themes, but still have the problem.

It does work via the admin panel, though. Does that mean it’s a javascript issue? What do I need to do to correct it? Do I need to add a script or edit one of the files?

    Thanks for your help.

Is there any chance of a live link to view?

    Thread Starter dp354

    (@dp354)

I’d rather not post a link. Are the screen shots not enough?

    Plugin Author Marcus (aka @msykes)

    (@netweblogic)

If it works in the admin panel, then 99.9% chance it is a theme or plugin conflict, maybe worth double-checking that again.

We’d really need a link to see it in action, we can see any JS errors that way, not with screenshots.

If you want to send us a login and url to test, you could do so via our contact form https://wp-events-plugin.com/contact-us/. Please link to this url so we know it’s you. It may take a few days though as we don’t usually dive into free user sites.

    Hi,

Im also experiencing this bug. Here’s the steps that to replicate the scenario:

    1. Add new events
    2. Tick “Enable registration for this event”

It will show you Ticket option together with pre-made “Standard Ticket” which I found it weird since the on previous versions you need to create ticket first. If you try to click edit or delete, “Standard Ticket” will be remove from the option.

@mcaronan please create a new thread for this, but I suggest you test whether a theme or plugin is causing this.
