Locations dropdown does not show pre-stored locations

    First I create a location, then I want to select it from the dropdown on the event page, but it does not appear.
    Only when I disable dropdown and create a location on the event page it appears later in the list after enabling dropdown again.
    Is this intended or a bug?

    Are you on the latest update 5.8.0.1? We fixed a bug related to that in the latest release.

    Also, resaving that location may help and it should appear on the dropdown.

    I have exactly the same problem and I have version 5.8.0.2 and the bug is not fixed.

    Same with me, Version 5.8.0.1

    I’m testing this out and not getting an issue with the location becoming available in the dropdown. I create a new location, then proceed to create or edit an event, the location is there in the dropdown.

    Are you running on MultiSite maybe, or any special settings that may be worth mentioning?

    I’ve managed to reproduce this on one of our multisite test sites with global tables enabled (but not on another one with similar settings). I’m still looking into this, but wondering if any of you are NOT using multisite?

    OK, scratch that, I’ve figured out what the problem is. Please bear with me whilst we come up with a fix, we’ll have a dev version out shortly.

    Hi, having tested this out in various scenarios, I can now confirm that this should all be fixed in the current dev version 5.8.0.3 which we’ll release as a stable tomorrow morning (CEST).
