Locations disappearing after resave

    For some reason since I updated the plugin to 3.1.46, I’ve encountered events loosing their location on re-edit and save. I can plug that back in a resave and it will appear again. This has occurred I think when I tried to select multiple categories and save. The disappearing location wasn’t happening in older version of the plugin on re-edit/save and I’ve tried going through and disabling other plugins but behavior persists.

    The multiple categories selection in block (FSE) editor is quite confusing. There are two areas in the editor to select categories. The first one allows multiple categories. The second does not. Not quite clear why there is duplication of two areas called “event categories” and how this works, but it seems to be buggy.

    Now I think I am seeing that Yoast adds a taxonomy “Events” which is the top first box on right in editor. Pehaps a conflict. Meanwhile shouldn’t it be possible to have an event in two categories? I cannot seem to do that in the lower category box (part of WP event plugin).

    @larryhir you got that right that is causing the conflict however only one category can be selected multiple categories cannot be selected for an event.

    I’m also having this issue, the website isn’t using Yoast and I’ve tested deactivating all plugins for clashes and still the location doesn’t save?????
