I recently moved a batch of sites to new servers. All migrated successfully bar one.
In that site, when I try to activate MainWP Child I get the message –

    MainWP Upload Directory
Writable Unable to create directory /usr/local/path to root of site/wp-content/uploads/mainwp/

That path is the old one and needs to be changed to the new one

    /var/www/new path/wp-content/uploads/mainwp/

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing. I have deleted all the relevant records I could find in the database. Every time, it insists on the old path.

Where do I find it so I can change it?

    Thanks in advance.

Generally when we see that issue the uploads folder after the migration is not correct.

On the Child site can you check the Media options section /wp-admin/options-media.php and make sure the “Store uploads in this folder” is set correctly after your move.

Brilliant! That worked perfectly. Just annoyed I didn’t think of that for myself. Many thanks.
