Location of Images

    When you create a new Gallery, you have the option of either adding new images or Importing from the media library. If you add new images, where do they go and how do you make it so that the WP media library can see them. If you import from media library, it appears that the plug in is storing the images in a second location. Is this true. Is there any way to avoid this?

    Hi,

    Please note that after uploading the images, they are being created in the three folders

    /wp-content/uploads/photo-gallery/– images with modified dimensions,

    /wp-content/uploads/photo-gallery/.original – the original image and

    /wp-content/uploads/photo-gallery/thumb – images with Thumbnail dimensions.

    There is also a separate folder for images uploaded from the Media Library in the Uploads folder. It works same as it is in the above described.
