• Hi, I am using the three column “dots” style sheet from Alex’ competition (https://www.alexking.org/software/wordpress/styles/sample.php?wpstyle=dots) with an horizontal menu.
    I have the following questions:
-1- the horizontal menu is currently placed in the middle column, how can I get it outlined to the left?
-2- when for example the second item in the column is photos how can I make it that it will open the foto section under the menu and not on a complete new page?
-3- is it also possible to only open the photo section in the left and middle column? This way the right column stays.
I hope somebody can help me:-) Many thanks in advance!!

  • If you are trying to create a horizontal tabbed menu like the one on https://photomatt.net , for example,
    https://www.isolani.co.uk/blog/standards/CssTabMenus
    might be useful.
1 – I cannot find the horizontal menu in the dots demo page
2 – the link above should help
3 – create a new file photo.php which is the same as index.php, without the left menu items.

Hi Thanks! True the dots demo page does not contain a menu, but I created it myself using some examples. The strange thing is that the menu is shown in the middle column somehow, just right from the standard picture in the left column. Of course I would like to have the menu to start on the left. Are there some CSS outline codes? (I am not so experienced with CSS). Thanks for the answers on the other questions, will try those!

Michiel, could you please post a link to your site so that others can see the problem, and the stylesheet, if you have modified it?
