    Hello,

I′m using the latest version of events manager and experiencing some problems showing a full list and map via shortcodes.
It works perfectly when I′m logged in to my site, but when logged out, the map and the list will only show locations with a future event listed. All other locations are not shown, despite I did not set any attributes to restrict list or map. When viewing the page logged in to the wordpress-backend, attributes work perfectly and influence the results. However, viewing the page logged out with a test-attribute set, the attribute has no effect at all. Only the list with the locations with listed future events are shown.
I have no idea where to look for a solution. Is there a setting that triggers this or might this be a bug, I don′t know.

    Best regards

    Andy

After analysing the problem the past hours, the problem still exists.

My site has the following terms on a site:
    [locations_map]
    [locations_list]

When I view the site, the following happens:
result when logged in: all locations are shown
result when logged out: only locations with events are shown

It seems like the attribute eventful=1 is automaticly added when I view the same site logged out. Adding eventful=0 has no effect. Why is that? Where can I turn this off? Has anyone else experienced that kind of problem?

    Thanks for any help

    Sorry for tripple-posting…

The problem also occures with v5.5.4 but does not appear with v5.5.3 ! Please consider a fix for this issue for the release of the next version.

    Thank you

I’m not able to replicate this.

Can you tell us something more about the events and locations you’re using? It could be there’s another factor involved beyond whether the event is future or past.

Don′t know. One special factor could be, that the locations not included in [locations_map] and [locations_list] since v5.5.4 have no events listed at all. In my case the locations should however be included in map and list.

Can you try upgrading to the latest version of Events Manager? I think that may fix the problem.

I had the latest version (v5.5.5) installed, when I realised the problem existed since v5.5.4. I then changed back to v5.5.3 (the last version that works perfectly for me). However, I downloaded v5.5.5 again now and installed it. The problem is still there. I was able to rule out any interferences with installed plugins apart from jigoshop as my site doesn′t load at all with this plugin disabled.

I can give you the address and a login via mail or PN if you like.

Hello, I too am suffering from this issue.

In version 5.5.5. when logged in (as admin user) all locations are listed on my locations page. When not logged in, only locations with events in the future are listed on my locations page.

    Hello PetFish,

can you confirm that the missing locations do not only have no events in the future but have no events set in your database at all?

    Hi Andy,

Yes this is true – When logged out, only locations with an event listed somewhere in my database are shown.

    Dear NetWebLogic Support,

will this issue be listed as a bug and fixed in the next version?

I get this too, I’ve let the devs know about it.

    Thank you angelo.
I am glad you were able to reconstruct this bug.
Hope this will be resolved soon. So I am looking forward to the next version or maybe a intermediate bugfix-version ??

    Following!

I am having the same issue. My client is a small destination shopping district. I am using the Locations List as the page listing all shops. Most shops offer timed promotions and ongoing classes (which will be entered as events), but not all of them.

Currently, when I am logged in, all locations appear on the “Shops” page. However, my client can see only the 1 location I listed as the “default location.”

As a work-around, I could use each location’s hours of operation, but I would rather have them just all appear!

    5.5.7 didn′t solve the issue.
When will this bug be removed?
    Any news on this topic?

Sorry, no ETA on this at the moment.
