    Hi there,

If you don’t see ANY businesses populating then you most likely have a plugin conflict. Deactivate ALL other plugins besides Google Places and see if that resolves it. If it does, re-activate each plugin one by one, testing again in between, until you see the problem again. Then let us know which plugin caused the conflict and we’ll see if we have a workaround for that.

    Thanks!

Thanks and as you suggested it seems to be a plugin conflict involving the Google API. The offending plugin is…

I have deactivated that one, reactivated your plugin and it works fine. I have then reactivated the maps plugin and it also seems to work fine. I am not sure though if the Google Places plugin will keep updating or if their is likely to continue to be a conflict. Do you know if there is likely to be an ongoing issue and do you have a suggested solution?

Could I get a response please?

The plugin now doesn’t seem to be pulling the latest reviews from Google no matter what i do with disabling the Maps plugin, clear cache, turn on and off etc

    Thanks

    Hey Rob,

Google’s API doesn’t automatically pull in the latest reviews. All they say is that they provide “a JSON array of up to five reviews” not specifying that it’s the “latest” reviews. Here’s the information I’m basing that from: https://developers.google.com/places/web-service/details#PlaceDetailsResults

From my experience, the reviews displayed update every few days.
