Location based feed/questions

    I am trying to build a website that allows people to ask or offer help. Initially Cornwall based but rolling out to a larger audience, the website will allow local organisations to ask for help and detail what help is needed. They can also offer help. A person can then view these and offer to help or seek help if needed.

    I need it to be location based so that if I am in Truro and need help I can seek help locally.

    My initial thoughts are in using Twitter. Posting a tweet can attach a location and allows real time monitoring.

    Any thoughts on whether this is possible through WordPress please?
