I can not find out where to locate my website social media icons that appear at bottom of each page (they are not in the Footer) to edit or add to them. I searched in WP dashboard clicking most of the menu options on left, and can not find where these icons are in edit mode. Called a tech support person who could not find them either. My developer no longer works for me and is not reachable. Please help. Thank you.

  • Hi,

I think the social media icons in your footer is managed by the plugin SiteOrigin Widgets. You can confirm that by going to the Plugins > Installed Plugins.

If that is correct, then most probably it was in the Footer Widget of your theme CityLogic. try to open the customize page from the Appearance > Customize. Then on the side menu, select Widgets > Footer. There you should see the SiteOrigin Social Media Buttons added.

tykoted: You were correct, and I was able to locate the icons following your instructions. Thank you very much. I had gone there several times before, but did not realize I could click on the ‘SiteOrigin Social Media Buttons’ link, because just below that it says ‘No preview available.’ I was expecting those icons to show there, in place of ‘No preview available.’ THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!!

You’re welcome! I’m glad that your problem has been solved ??. We would love if you would mark this topic as resolved in the sidebar. This helps our volunteers find the topics that still need attention and more people will get helped, possibly like you did.
