Locate posts and pages on server

  • I am trying to find the Posts and page files on the FTP, where do they get stored? in wp-admin, wp-content. Anything like that?

    I have lost a heap of data during moving a server accross, and just would like to find the most likely location it would be. I have found where all the images upload in the themes folder.

    Any help is much appreciated.

  • hehehehe ?? well creative post stored in the database so open your phpmyadmin or database administrative panel or what ever may be databases and backup the database pages and post stored there but why you backup the database go to your dashboard and go to tools and select export it will give you the backup and then you will restore you backup again.when its donw

    if you want to backup images folders then go to wp-content and copy the uploads folder it have all you images stored.
