• I have several filler images in my Woo Commerce store. In the near future, I am going to need to change all of those out for new images. Items of a specific category are going to get one icon. Store items of another category will get another image. For example, books in the store will all get a featured image of a book.

    1) There are too many products to do this one by one.
    2) Is accessing the database the smart way to solve this problem.
    3) Where are the Woo Commerce products located in the database?

  • There are several CSV product upload plugins that I use for this (like: WooCommerce Product CSV Import Suite)

But I would recommend either exporting your products using a CSV plugin, editing the images row in Excel then re-uploading the spreadsheet again.

Or download the database through PHP MyAdmin and edit the rows there and re-upload it through the same tool.

Also I’sure there is a mySQL query you could run to do the trick as well.
