• Hello all,

I’m having a small issue where I’m developing a WordPress site locally, but I would like to be able to make it accessible from the outside as well. Is there a way to allow me to view the site via localhost while also allowing remote viewing without changing the blog url each time?

I tried setting the blog url to blank (so that all the urls generated would be relative) but it kicked back the error that the url was invalid. :\

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks..

  • You need to use a url that is accessible both from inside your network and outside. This isn’t really a WordPress issue – it’s a network/domain name problem.
