• Hi there, I don’t know if I’m in the right forum but here it goes.

I am translating a WordPress theme from English to French. The theme uses the “n()” function witch establishes the single/plural form based on a numeric value. I have an issue with the single/plural form since in English, the plural form is used for zero, but in French, the single form is used instead.

Now the translation is used in a cart items content. So I guess the “n()” function is the one to use, but “n()” will return plural for zero.

What should I be looking into to fix this.

    Thanks

  • You might be better speaking to the theme developer directly about this but bear in mind that no semi-automated translation system is ever going to produce perfect results for every language.

ok… the theme developper said to come in here since the funciton is being used correctly.

Maybe someone can tell me where the function is define so I can hack it in some way ?

    Thanks
