It works on cloud settings with gotosolr, but not on a local Solr bitnami instance ?

What errors are you seeing ?

It works on normal (remote) server, but not on localhost WordPress install ( Bitnami installer)
When I click “Synchronize WordPress with my Solr index” it never completes. 0 documents indexed so far

    No errors, even with define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);

    Which local Solr version ?

Can you check that your local schema.xml is WPSOLR’s
(verify from the Solr admin UI)

    I dont run local Solr,
I subscribed for trial gotosolr.com account.

oh, it is wordpress which is local/remote, not Solr ?

Then, what happens when you save your connexion settings in (local) WPSOLR ?

When you’re on the Tab ‘Solr operations’, are you seeing “x indexes in your index” ?

The “x” comes from a query to your index. If it fails, it would display a nice error message.

    There I have
A total of 12 documents are currently in your index
9 document(s) remain to be indexed

and it keeps saying ” 0 documents indexed so far”

    (@wpsolr)

Can you empty your index, and retry ?

    What happens then ?

    Thread Starter ernest_d

    (@sfedona)

    Nothing…
only if I interupt syncronisation and click Stop,
then for very short moment a message is displayed
“An error of timeout occured: (error code: error)

    (@wpsolr)

But then, still 12 documents in the index ?

What are the 9 documents remaining, compared to the 12 others ?

    Thread Starter ernest_d

    (@sfedona)

I reinstalled new WordPress, and now it seems to work.
Probably some plugins messed up with custom content types.
We can mark it as resolved.
    Thanks !

    No pb.

Do you use WPSOLR s2member extension ?

    Thread Starter ernest_d

    (@sfedona)

I have not tried yet to use S2member together with WPSOLR.
