• Hello,

I am having a problem using wordpress on my computer after downloading it via ftp to my localhost (xampp).

The directory that i have downloaded is the exact same as the one on the web host. https://www.worldsmostwantedtshirt.com

    https://localhost/tshirt/wp-admin/

displays the following message in my browser:

    Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at p50mysql175.secureserver.net. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

    * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    * Are you sure that the database server is running?

If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

    https://localhost/tshirt/ displays the following message:

    Error establishing a database connection

I would like to work on localhost and upload to my the once I can completed the site.

    Please advise.

    J.J.
