LocalHost Plugin Usage

Good afternoon,

I hope all is well.

I’m facing some trouble using your Events Calendar wordpress plugin. I’ve installed all well, however I can’t seem to verify my email address. I’m met with the following message:

‘Sorry you are not allowed to access this page’.

I suppose this might have something to do with the fact that I’m working on my local host?

Please advise on how to correct this issue. I can’t seem to actually use the plugin, in conjunction with my Divi wordpress theme. The option to add the calendar to a module does not arise.?
