    Hi
I tried to set apart of my standard Google Shopping Feed also Local Product Feed (LPF) and Local Product Inventory Feed (LPIF).

LPF and LPIF both mapping as default itemid where according to Google Support it shall be id or webitemid on both.

This resulting an error on Goolge Merchant for all items in this feeds.
Invalid or missing required attribute: id

Interesting is that Google Shopping feed is using id where two others itemid. I can try to create manual feed to map correctly, but is there any reason or your default mapping template for this two need to be updated?

  • Hi Darius,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. With regards to the webitemid field. This field should have been already available for you to use in the LPIF feed. Just hit the orange “+ Add field mapping” button and select the webitemid from the drop-down.

With regards to the LPF feed, it indeed wasnt in there as a default field to select from the drop-down. We have therefor just added it in our latest release, just update to version 8.2.8. Make sure to de-activate and re-activate the plugin after you updated it as this will reload all templates.

    Hope this helps.

    For LPIF, thanks, added.
Think this shall be added automatically on initial setup hence its required and when is not, the confusion arises from statement “For the selected channel the attributes shown below are mandatory…”

LPF, thanks, updated, deactivated and activated again and mapping.

Any reason why id is not added to both?
Despite google guide refer to id and webitemid adding only webitemid didn’t resolve issue with Invalid or missing required attribute: id in LPF?

ps. try to add id through custom mapping but it doesn’t seam to use it at all in generated file for LPF but adding by that same method to LPIF adding it to file.

What I noticed, LPF do not tolerate any custom modifications.

    apart of
    g:itemid
    g:title

    I added
    g:webitemid
    g:mpn

    and custom field
    id

    File as following:
    g:itemid,g:title,g:webitemid,g:mpn,g:itemid

Look at the duplicate g:itemid ??? without a reason?
