I am having an issue with the local pickup not showing up on the checkout/cart pages… I have flat rate (not local pickup) and two different types of local pickup zones made, one with every zip code near me and one with just my state. The only option showing up at checkout is flat rate. Another words, when the customer goes to check out, only flat rate is showing, whether they are logged in and local or checking out as a guest.

    Hi tlsejuice,

The shipping zones aren’t affected by being logged in or not. It only looks at the shipping country / state / zip code to match the customer to a zone.

It sounds like in your case, your local zone isn’t getting matched. Could you please post links to some screenshots here of your shipping zones and of you at checkout with one of the zip codes entered?

Note that your local zone should be the first on the list. Otherwise the state zone will be matched first and it will never match the local zone.

You need to add the state to the zone with zip codes too.

I’ve tried that, still no luck getting it to show up. i’ve been trying many workarounds in the past few weeks and nothing seems to work.

@tlsejuice the “Local Pickup in Waukesha, WI.” area need to have the state and be the first option in the screen, so move it to the top. Since WooCommerce will try first for the “EU” area and will not match anything, so will try the “USA” area and match, since “WI” in under “USA” and there is no need to test the a third area… So at least your local pickup are need to be on to to the “USA” area.

Thanks @claudio Sanches That worked for me. Cheers.

Claudio’s answer worked for me, too.

I tried everything – but it’s MAJOR KEY that the Local Pickup option be first on the list.

hi I am having this same problem. I have tried many different things including making sure local pick up is top of my list and it has always been and it is still not working. please help me.

I am having the same issue. It is the first option in my shipping zones and have the state and zip codes to be checked against, but only the US (Domestic) option is available when checking out. Anyone else have a resolution?

Mine finally started working after I moved Local Pickup to the bottom, saved the update, then moved it back to the top and saved it. Not sure if that will help anyone else or not.
