• Hi team,

    In our WooCommerce store, we give customers the option to choose ‘local pickup’ — important for those located nearby or items that cannot be shipped via post. However, these sales still end up in the Sendle dashboard.

    We went into WooCommerce Sendle settings and changed the “Post to Sendle API” from ‘any method’ to just Sendle, thinking this may help, however they still appear.

    Any advice on how we can keep the local pickup orders out of Sendle?

    Thanks!

    Hi,
    Just select “sendle” only from “Post to Sendle API for the selected shipping method ” multiselect dropdown.

    Thanks

    Hi

    timberrevival actually stated that they had tried your suggested solution. We have the same problem although I am not sure whether it is a problem or a “feature”. Looking at the sendle log for pickup orders, they look different to delivery orders:
    [orderid:3333] Name : Victorinox 5.0833 Wavy Edge Paring Knife 11cm SKU : FSH0106 Weight : 0.03 Quantity : 1, — Weight : 0.03- Volume : 0 2021-03-22 23:13:04
    5800 postorder4– [orderid:3333] Array ( [0] => local_pickup ) 2021-03-22 23:13:04
    5799 postorder3– [orderid:3333] local_pickup 2021-03-22 23:13:04
    5798 postorder2– [orderid:3333] local_pickup 2021-03-22 23:13:04
    5797 postorder1– [orderid:3333] Pickup from Goodwood 2021-03-22 23:13:04
    5796 items — [product_id=1935] variation_id =0 2021-03-22 23:13:04
    5795 Rate :: Array ( [id] => ossmsendle-Easy [label] => Delivered [cost] => 7.23 [taxes] => Array ( [111] => 0.72 ) [calc_tax] => per_order ) 2021-03-22 23:11:58
    5794 Final cost without tax(sendlecost + handling_fee + markup) : 6.32 + 0.91 + 0 2021-03-22 23:11:58
    5793 Final tax(sendleTax+ handling_fee_tax) : 0.63 + 0.09 2021-03-22 23:11:58

    Order 3333 at 2021-03-22 23:13:04 is the pickup order. The remainder of the (partial) listed log entries for another order actually demonstrate that sendle is calculating the cost. From the log entries it looks like you are not performing the sendle processing when the order is pickup but yet, the pickup order is listed in Sendle. Is this in case the customer wants to change their mind. It looks like orders pushed through to Sendle are not filtered.

    Local pickup is not actually listed in shipping methods that can be de-selected so perhaps it slips under the radar somehow.

    Thanks
