Local Pickup not showing up in method selections

    Hi everyone,

I want to offer only local pickup for my vegetable farm. I have already set up a 2 pickup locations.
Then I tried to create a shipping zone and wanted to choose local pickup. But it always shows up that I have to setup pickup locations. 

Can you help me?
I am using recent available wordpress and woocommerce version, and the germanized plugin, because I am located in Austria.

    First, ensure that you’ve correctly set up your pickup locations in WooCommerce. Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Pickup Locations. Confirm that your two pickup locations are listed there.

      Setting Up Shipping Zones:
      To offer local pickup, you’ll need to create a shipping zone. Follow these steps:

        • Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping Zones.
        • Click Edit on the shipping zone where you want to offer local pickup.
        • Within the zone, click Add Shipping Method.
        • Choose Local Pickup and click Continue.

        Germanized for WooCommerce:
        Since you’re using the Germanized for WooCommerce plugin, check if it has specific settings related to local pickup. Sometimes, plugins can affect shipping methods. Make sure you’ve configured it appropriately.

          I am really thankful for your quick reply, but that is what I am trying for a week now, with all the guidelines I found here or on other sides.
          Did i missed a step when going through your instructions?

          I again verified my pickup locations see screen:

          When I try to use this locations within shipping zone creation, then they do not show up, see screen:

          What’s missing? I am not sure if I get the correct options on block-based payment.
          But on checkout side, the option shows up, so I think it should be ok.


          I deactivated or deleted every plugin except from woocommerce und germanized.
          Any ideas?

          I couldn’t find any option, but I tried deactivating plugin “Germanized for wc”:
          Problen still exits.

          Hey! That’s not an error, it’s just telling you that Local Pickup are setup on a different page, they don’t use shipping zones and are always available.

          @assassinateur Thanks for that hint!!! It actually works now! ??

          I initial tried to just creating the local pickup locations without using shipping zones, but the option local pickup does not show up in final checkout page. That’s why I thought the zones may solve the problem.

          When I tried without shipping zones, I didn’t had the latest wordpress version and some other plugins installed. Since I updated to latest version and deleted unused plugins, I did not try that simple version again. You made my day!
