Local Pickup – can not select anything

    Has something changes with free local pickup/shipping?

    In the past there used to be a radio button to chose either delivery or free local pick up…but the radio button seems to have gone!

    Instead of radio the code says input “hidden”?

    What do I need to do to get these options ie “Local Pickup” or “Delivery” to be selectable radio buttons again?

    I tried it on store front theme and still no radio button so I don’t think it is a theme issues….what am I doing wrong?!

    Local Pickup is still an option within WooCommerce. Nothing has changed in that sense.

    I would recommend first checking to make sure your shipping zones and methods are set up properly. Is Local Pickup added to your shipping zone(s)? If so, is it set to enabled?

    If it’s added correctly, then please take a look at any plugins you have that would impose additional restrictions on your shipping options.

    Lastly, if that doesn’t help, I would recommend conflict testing your plugins and theme to find the source of the issue. We have a guide on how to test for conflicts here:

    I have at least two sites that offer free local pick up but both of them show the local pick up but the radio button is “hidden”

    Not the theme as I tried it with basic theme and still the same…

    What am I missing?

    I have built a fresh new install with just woocommerce plugin and Storefront – added two shipping options, one a list of post codes and a “Local Collection” which is free.

    If you add an item to the cart, view the cart – the radio choices are not shown to select your preferred shipping method!

    Woo have helpmed me solve the issue – the lcoal pick up needed to be added to the methods not as a new shipping zone!

    Hey @sprocker glad to hear you were able to get this set up properly.

    Sorry if my instructions earlier were confusing. When I said:

    I meant in each of your shipping zones, have you added this as a shipping method. Not that you would create a shipping zone called “local Pickup”. You could certainly create a “local pickup” zone as well, but you would still need to add the shipping method to that zone.

    I know you already figured this out, however I wanted to clarify for other users that may come across this thread.
