Local Pickup AND Flat Rate Delivery

    Hi,

    I’m not able to find a single article on this subject but would seem to be something fairly straightforward.

    I have a product for which I would like to offer free pickup in Florida but ALSO offer to flat rate deliver – in Florida or anywhere else. For everything I’ve tried, if I order from Florida it will only show the local pickup – some people even locally might want the product delivered instead of picking it up as it’s very heavy.

    Is there some way I can provide both of these options for my customers?

    Hey there!

    If you have both Local Pickup and Flat Rate in a zone for your local area, it will show both at the same time.

    Most times when we see this, there’s a zone set up for the local area that only has pickup in it. Customers only match one zone, so each zone has to have *every* method you want to offer that zone in it.

    I just want to add for someone else who may have a similar issue how I solved it. Because we had two products – each with different flat rates, each offering free pickup in the same locations, for me setting up zones just got too difficult. I used product add ons – set one option to free pickup in Florida, one for delivery with the set rate. Worked like a charm.
