    Hello. Can there be a check of the Customers shipping address against our store address so that if the customer’s shipping address is not in the vicinity of our store then “Local Pickup” would be disabled as an option?

    Right now Local Pickup is the first option that is already selected by default which is wrong and I keep having to cancel customer orders because they leave Local Pickup as the option but they don’t plan on picking it up… they arejust trying to get free shipping. It has become a big problem. Please help. Thank you.

    Hello,

    Changing the way the built-in Local Pickup shipping method works is out of the scope of this plugin.

    You can check for other plugin to replace the built-in Local Pickup (e.g. WooCommerce Local Pickup Plus) or contact the WooCommerce support area.

    I’m having the same problem. I think it’s because USPS Simple Shipping for Woocommerce does not have an entry in the Shipping zones so it’s not possible to set the order compared to other shipping options.
