• I am working on my blog, i have 2 questions.

    Q1) What are best practices to work on website?
    Should i updated my blog on local server 1st then push to live?
    or I can work directly on live website

    Q2) I am trying to post but wordpress is slow in responding
    sometime i think internet connection is slow
    or my hosting i am not sure
    how can i find out that whats making it slow

    Hey @digitaldevnet,

    1. It’s not best practice to work on your live site. If things go wrong it can get embarrassing, especially if you have clients asking why their site is broken (the site you linked to offers web development so I assume you might have clients). Here’s a great article that explains how you might set up staging.
    2. I did a test using Pingdom (there was a handy link in one of your posts) and it looks like there’s a long wait for your server to start sending data. Here’s a thread on StackExchange which explains some possible reasons for the ‘wait’ shown in the Pingdom results.

    Thanks @neilgilmour, I appreciate your quick reply. I am developer myself and trying to build my site because of less time i do changes online but i will follow your advice.
