Local Host seen by people?

  • i’m so confused im a beginner and i have just installed wordpress using WAMP my question is how do i make it so my website is seen by people that aren’t on my pc

    That will be determined by your modem and router settings, and whether your internet service provider allows personal websites.

    Be aware that people can, and will, attempt to hack your site. That means if they succeed, they will take over your personal system. This is why it is a good idea to never make your localhost installation visible to the outside world.

    Also be aware that all access to your localhost website, including any potential DDoS attacks, will count against your ISP’s backwidth limits.

    I assume you are asking about how to make your local server live. For that you need to have a dedicated IP. If you have that, you can register your domain name with that IP and it can be accessed by all over the world.

    Or simple share your IP to others and they can able to access your wordpress site.
