ive installed mamp and wp locally on a macbookpro

i managed to get the whole thing working fine, (these forums are GREAT)
so of course i began by changing everything – now after a week straight of all of these successes..

i manged to change the local host information for my site,

i can loginto the wp admin and the site opens up fine, i can see the 2 pages i added, and all of the information on/in the admin panel

the problem is when i go to ‘visit site’ it gives me the

firefox cannot establish a connection to the server at local host
and in the URL is says this:

    https://localhost/blondie/

when it used to say ( i think) this https://localhost:888/blondie/

i added it to the wp-congig php file, and it is listed correctly in the admin panel:settings:general

im not sure where else to change this, it appears correct in the msql php files (and the rest of the site indeed runs fine)

    thanks in advance
