    Hello, thanks for the community.

I have installed the WooCommerce core within WordPress on the local environment. The store app recognizes the admnistrator logged in as a customer of the store.

We intend to test the app by simulating an user interface, following Login/Logout/Register dinamics.

By using Memebers plugin (the User Role Editor) we have that

    And the following Users

From another profile in the webbrowser we can access the app and log in as tester2, but we falls on

I would apprecite to be enlighten on the best approach to fix this inconsistency.

Thanks so much for the attention.

Sorry @izanoth I’m having trouble understanding the overall issue here. I can tell you that the Coming Soon page for sure is enabled. To turn that off go to WooCommerce > Settings > Site Visibility tab and check Live to see the site. Anything else let me know. I apologize for not understanding the rest.

Sorry it had not changed on my end until now @izanoth

I guess you’re referring to the screenshot of the login page, correct?

So this is the admin login page. You should be seeing a login page for users at /my-account depending on what apps you have added and your theme. This is not where you want people logging in.

If you are using a custom extension we will not be able to assist you as this forum is only for WooCommerce core.

I can understand., no worries. But it is not a rocket science for sure, in fact I just migrate to Woo right now. ??

So, th Storefront is the current Theme and has some plugins installed really..

    The unusual ones may be

    Jetpack
    Specia Companion
    Members

The Storefront renders “My Account” button (because we are logged as adm – our problem!). I suppose once this is solved (the roles and the public app access) it wills render Login / Register instead, unless it doesn’t comes so helpful, true? I have checked the plugins/my-account directory and their files (form-login etc…), the point is how to orchestrate all that (with shortcodes eventually?).

    Thanks for support!

Hey @izanoth In order for the login / register to show you need to set that up and make sure the page My Account is added.

You want to follow these steps to ensure it’s set properly

To enable account registration on the My Account page in WooCommerce, you can do the following:

    1. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts and Privacy?
    2. In the Account Creation section, check the box for Allow customers to create an account on the My Account page?

You can also add the WooCommerce login shortcode, [woocommerce_my_account], to create additional login forms on your website.?

If that’s not it let me know.

The Live mode is enabled and running, but the test profile can access /my-account just. (I did understand, it would be work for the case we are not in local enviorment. In our case, the Live mode is proper for development and testing customer access, it’s correct?)

By access the ‘/’, we are redirected to the wp-adm login page.

The intend is to get Login / Register buttons rendered if the customer are not logged in, and My Account otherwise.

This collection is WooCommerce related, for sure, we just need to set all up.

I need to get it done, there are lots of work to do. I’ll be grateful. Thanks.

And, of course, Woo is really handy and friendly, done with <3 for us, that’s why I needn’t use my platform created from scratch already published ?? ?? ?? ?? ??

    Hello izanoth,

Thank you for contacting Woo support.

I have read the whole conversation and it looks like you have everything under control.
Please let me know if I missed something or if you need help with anything related to the WooCommerce.

    Have a great day!

Ya @izanoth sorry I’m really struggling to understand your goal here. If you are referring to a landing page where subscribers/customers go to login I gave you those instructions above. If it’s something different please advise.

    Hello @doublezed2 , partially.

You may noticed I’m trying to orchestrate the customer login/register dinamics. Is it because I’m running on localhost?

    @serafinnyc ??

    Have a nice day!

    (@serafinnyc)

If you’re expecting an email @izanoth then yes emails will not be sent in local. If you’re not seeing the login/register page then that has nothing to do with local at all. You are either missing the my-account page as I believe I stated somewhere above. You also need to go enable the creating of account, also which I stated above.
