Local Dev Work – How to Activate API

    Hi there,

    Thanks for this plugin. Currently developing on my local machine, and wondering how to get the Google API key to work. When registering for a key, it requires that you designate which domains should be able to request the data….so local dev doesn’t seem to work.

    Have you run into this and know of a way around it so that I can try out your plugin on a local dev set up?

    Hi Brian,

    In the Google Developer Console you should have created a project and I assume you’ve enabled the fonts service. In the credentials section you’ll need a Public API Access. Once created you should be able to edit the allowed referrers. If you leave that box empty it should be fine and it should say: “Any referer allowed”
