    Is it possible to run your admin account local to WordPress but have all your end users login through LDAP? Or at least keep a local account working for backup, so you don’t have to go in and rename the plugin if LDAP goes down, but you need access to the site?

    Hi,

    Yes, it is possible to run an admin account local to WordPress. You can enable the option Authenticate Administrators from both LDAP and WordPress in LDAP configuration tab. Here, all the users who are present in the directory will be authenticated by LDAP and local admin can also log in using his WordPress credentials.
