Good to know, Im really focus down all my attachment functions to use this plugin for a lot of projects. And I need to make shure it is follwing our company policy of clean code.
I know it is temptating to extend a plugin with -nice-things-for-twnety-twelve-themes users, but I hope this plug could keep it simple
No sliders, no presentation goodies outside the core idea. Make it as addons or DEFINE add flexislider support or whatever. Less is more.
Better to develope the API / UI for example,
Inserting an image to a post, into content editor, from media manager, if the image is already attached, it wont show up as attached file in your meta box.
An option to un-attach and “new-attach” to “this post”, on the fly when inserting, would be nice.
Also, an option to set the none destructive size of the thumbnail in the meta box view. Your lists take huge space for me. Im working in conjuction with a lot of Buddypress themes and the thumbnails are quite big, 160 x 160 (Scaling with responsive css x 2 = 320 mobile dev, and devided 2 = 80px for thumblists on all devices.) We don wanna have to many custom image sizes in the installations.
An option to set custom scaled thumbnail view size (just width/ height = X %, no generated new thumb) Or something else smart. For now I jsut override the css with an !important statement rule.
The click on title to rename is also very secret and user don understand, better to set focus on the fields and start typing right away, or at least a arrow – edit on the labels.
