load.php line 33

  • Hi,

    I’m trying to do an export of my wordpress site and I get the following error when I export all content:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wp_unregister_globals() (previously declared in /home/*****/public_html/wp-includes/load.php:18) in /home/*****/public_html/wp-includes/load.php on line 33

    Any advice will be appreciated.

  • Are you doing this via Tools-> Export?

    Yeah

    Dashboard > Tools > Export > All content

    Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    I read that elsewhere today and tried it, still didn’t work.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
